Reunion is a resort community in unincorporated Osceola County, and it has the most clearly documented event rules of anywhere we serve. That is good news, because it means we can plan a 360 booth set up around the real constraints rather than finding them on the day.

360 photo booth rental in Reunion, FL

Reunion Resort publishes a Grande Ballroom of about 8,160 sq ft for up to 800 guests, the rooftop Eleven venue of about 6,400 sq ft and the Grande Falls Patio outdoor lawn of about 5,000 sq ft. The Reunion East Community Development District rents the Heritage Crossings Community Center ballroom, rated for 614 people in full and 300 as a half room, along with Linear Park and the Seven Eagles pool area. Encore Resort at Reunion lists a private dining room, a third floor terrace, a gazebo and the East Side Pavilion.

How the 360 booth works

Guests step onto a low platform, an arm carries the camera around them, and the clip comes back slowed down, sped up and set to music. Each spin takes a few seconds, and the finished video goes straight to the guest by text, email or QR code, so it is on their phone while the party is still running. Groups of two or three fit on the platform together, which is usually where the best clips come from.

Where a 360 booth fits in Reunion

If your event is at a district facility, read the Reunion East CDD special event policy before you finalize timings. It states that special events may not last longer than four hours and may not run past 10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday or 11:00 PM Friday and Saturday. It requires commercial general liability of one million dollars per occurrence and two million aggregate with the district named as an additional insured, and certificates submitted at least 30 days before the event. The rental application also asks for a list of proposed equipment, which is where a photo booth belongs.

The four hour cap is the detail that catches people out. Set up and takedown have to fit around it, so tell us your reserved block early and we will build the schedule backwards from it. Resort ballroom bookings are simpler and run on the venue’s own vendor process instead.

Worth knowing. District facility events are capped at four hours with a 10:00 PM or 11:00 PM finish and need insurance certificates 30 days ahead. Send us your block early.

Reunion 360 photo booth questions

What are the rules for an event at a Reunion district facility?

The Reunion East CDD limits special events to four hours, ends them at 10:00 PM Sunday to Thursday and 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, requires the district to be named as additional insured on a one million dollar per occurrence policy, and asks for insurance certificates at least 30 days ahead.

Does the four hour limit include set up?

Plan as if it does. The district asks for a list of proposed equipment on the application and expects the space returned on time, so tell us your exact block and we will schedule load in and pack down around it.

Can you set up at a Reunion vacation home?

Yes, if the rental agreement allows an event. Many homes here are licensed short term rentals with their own restrictions, so confirm with your host in writing before booking.
