Inside BVL, the Robert Guevara Community and Park on Florida Parkway is the main public facility, a county run community center and park with indoor meeting space that Osceola County describes as a location for a party, wedding or event. Just outside the neighborhood, Kissimmee Bay Country Club runs ballrooms for up to about 225 guests and the Barney E. Veal Event Center on Generation Point handles events for several hundred.

How the 360 booth works

Guests step onto a low platform, an arm carries the camera around them, and the clip comes back slowed down, sped up and set to music. Each spin takes a few seconds, and the finished video goes straight to the guest by text, email or QR code, so it is on their phone while the party is still running. Groups of two or three fit on the platform together, which is usually where the best clips come from.

Where a 360 booth fits in Buenaventura Lakes

Home events are the backbone here. Townhomes and smaller lots mean the garage and the driveway are usually the best spots, and a level driveway with the cars moved out gives the booth a clean footprint and keeps the queue off the grass.

For the county community center, Osceola County takes park and facility reservations online through its ActiveNet system on a first come first served basis, and states that events and field rentals carry requirements including insurance. Note that the Buenaventura Lakes library room is not an option for a private party. The Osceola Library System’s own policy says events in its multipurpose rooms must be free and open to the public, bars the promotion or sale of goods and services by for profit businesses, and does not allow food and drink in meeting rooms.
