Lake Nona Wave Hotel publishes a Wave Ballroom of about 3,000 sq ft with 14 ft ceilings, divisible into three sections, plus the smaller Fusion and Ignite rooms at 9 ft ceilings and outdoor sculpture garden spaces. The Althea Lake Nona Events Center attached to Aloft publishes the Gibson Ballroom at about 6,000 sq ft, subdividable into five sections. Nona Adventure Park rents the indoor Board Room and the outdoor Sunset Pavilion, and Boxi Park is a 30,000 sq ft outdoor venue bookable for private events.

How the 360 booth works

Guests step onto a low platform, an arm carries the camera around them, and the clip comes back slowed down, sped up and set to music. Each spin takes a few seconds, and the finished video goes straight to the guest by text, email or QR code, so it is on their phone while the party is still running. Groups of two or three fit on the platform together, which is usually where the best clips come from.

Where a 360 booth fits in Lake Nona

Ceiling height is the thing to check here, and Lake Nona publishes it. The Wave Ballroom and its foyer are listed at 14 ft, which is comfortable, while the Fusion and Ignite rooms are listed at 9 ft, which is the tightest published clearance in our whole service area. A 360 booth still works at 9 ft, but the camera arm and any tall guest with their arms up is the thing to plan around, so tell us the room name and we will confirm.

Lake Nona sits inside Orlando city limits rather than unincorporated Orange County, so if your event is on city property the City of Orlando special events permit process applies, and the city asks for applications well in advance of the date. Private venues and homes are governed by the venue contract instead.
