The Village Event and Conference Center at Villatel Village in Solterra Resort publishes a Manhattan Ballroom with 16 ft ceilings plus the smaller Miami and Hollywood ballrooms and an outdoor patio. The city owned Tom Fellows Community Center has a banquet hall that seats several hundred. Highlands Reserve Golf Club has a smaller clubhouse meeting room.

How the 360 booth works

Guests step onto a low platform, an arm carries the camera around them, and the clip comes back slowed down, sped up and set to music. Each spin takes a few seconds, and the finished video goes straight to the guest by text, email or QR code, so it is on their phone while the party is still running. Groups of two or three fit on the platform together, which is usually where the best clips come from.

Where a 360 booth fits in Davenport

Ceiling height is the one measurement worth checking, and Davenport is better documented than most. The Solterra conference center publishes 16 ft in its main ballroom and 12 ft in the two smaller ones, which is plenty. A 360 booth needs roughly a 10 ft by 10 ft flat area and clearance above it for the camera arm.

Outside the resort venues, most Davenport bookings are at homes in the gated subdivisions off Ronald Reagan Parkway and US 27. Driveways and garages are our most common set up there. If you are in a rented vacation home rather than your own, check the rental agreement first, since several managers in this corridor prohibit events at the property.
