Where You Can Set Up A Bounce House In Poinciana
Poinciana is unusual because it spans two counties. The Association of Poinciana Villages publishes separate resources for residents on the Osceola County side and the Polk County side, and the county you are in affects which public park system applies to you.
Inside Poinciana, the Association of Poinciana Villages rents out its own facilities. A pavilion carries a usage fee for all day use, dawn to dusk. An outdoor park event that is not a pavilion booking is treated very differently, with APV requiring both a substantial deposit and a much higher usage fee. APV facilities include the Poinciana Community Center and the Anthony DePalma Event Center on Marigold Avenue, the APV Fitness Gymnasium and the Mary Jane Arrington Gymnasium on Country Club Drive.
Osceola County also operates several parks inside Poinciana, including Charlie Wheeler Community Park on Laurel Avenue, Deerwood Community Park, Poinciana Veterans Memorial Park on Walnut Street and the Vance Harmon Complex. County parks require insurance and an advance pavilion reservation, with pavilion rates set by size and resident status.
APV does not publish a rule specifically about inflatables at its facilities, and its Design Control Board criteria for residential lots state that portable or temporary structures are not permitted while listing several exceptions, without naming inflatables either way. Because that is ambiguous rather than settled, call APV on 863-427-0900 before planning a setup on association property or if you are unsure about your own lot.
For a party at home, Osceola County's special event permit rules explicitly exempt private residences, so there is no county permit to obtain.

Poinciana Bounce House Rental Questions
Common questions about Poinciana Bounce House Rentals.
Which county am I in? Poinciana straddles Polk and Osceola, and the Association of Poinciana Villages publishes separate resources for each side. Your address decides which county park system applies to you. It makes no difference to our delivery.
Can I use an APV facility? Yes, APV rents pavilions and buildings directly. A pavilion is charged as a day rate. An outdoor park event that is not a pavilion booking carries a much larger deposit and usage fee, so for most birthday parties a pavilion or a back garden is the sensible choice.
Do I need permission for my own yard? There is no county permit for a private residence. If you want certainty about association rules on your lot, call APV on 863-427-0900, because their design criteria address temporary structures without naming inflatables specifically.
What do you need from me? The address, the hours you want the unit, the setup surface, and the width of the narrowest gate on the route into the yard.
Is there a power requirement? Yes. A blower runs the whole time the unit is inflated, so we need a working outlet within reach of the setup point.
