Davenport Bounce House Rentals

Davenport sits in Polk County, and the rules here are less clearly published than in Osceola or Orange. That is worth knowing before you plan an event anywhere other than a private yard.

We checked the City of Davenport parks and recreation pages and the Polk County parks pages, and neither publishes a policy stating whether inflatables and bounce houses are permitted at their pavilions, nor a published fee schedule or insurance requirement for them. That is not the same as saying they are banned. It means you need a direct answer rather than an assumption. Call Polk County Parks and Recreation on 863-534-4340 for county sites, or the City of Davenport for city facilities, and confirm before you commit to a date.

By contrast, the neighbouring authorities do publish rules, and they are strict. The City of Kissimmee prohibits bounce houses and inflatables in all of its parks and pavilions. Orange County prohibits water slides in any of its parks. So do not assume a park in one jurisdiction follows the practice of another.

Home setups avoid all of this. Most of what we deliver in Davenport goes to private yards and short term rental properties. For a managed vacation home, the approval you need comes from the property manager, and you should also ask whether vendors need gate registration and whether there are restrictions on the hours equipment can run.
