The Association of Poinciana Villages owns most of the rentable indoor space in the community. The Anthony DePalma Event Center on Marigold Avenue has a ballroom that seats over 250 guests plus smaller meeting rooms, the Poinciana Community Center next door hosts private celebrations and community events, and there are gymnasium buildings on Marigold Avenue and Country Club Drive. The independent Poinciana Event Center on Old Pleasant Hill Road handles birthdays, church events, weddings and banquets.

How the 360 booth works

Guests step onto a low platform, an arm carries the camera around them, and the clip comes back slowed down, sped up and set to music. Each spin takes a few seconds, and the finished video goes straight to the guest by text, email or QR code, so it is on their phone while the party is still running. Groups of two or three fit on the platform together, which is usually where the best clips come from.

Where a 360 booth fits in Poinciana

Poinciana straddles the Osceola and Polk county line, so which county you are in depends on your address rather than on your mailing city. It does not change our delivery, but it does change which county rules apply if you move your party to a public park.

For an APV facility, the association handles bookings and sets the terms for the room, so ask them about outside vendors and access times when you reserve. APV can be reached on 863-427-0900. For a party at your own house, Osceola County’s special event permit rules exempt private residences, so there is no county permit to chase for a backyard or driveway event.
