Where You Can Set Up A Bounce House In St. Cloud
St. Cloud runs its own parks department, separate from Osceola County, and its pavilion system works differently from the county one. If you are planning anything outside your own yard, these are the rules that apply.
A rental is required for the use of all pavilions on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and City-observed holidays when the gathering exceeds ten people. Pavilions are rented in four hour blocks, either 8am to 12pm or 1pm to 5pm, or all day from 8am to 5pm.
At the St. Cloud Lakefront, the five pavilions are East Loop #1, Sleeping Tiger #2, East Lake Toho #3, Splash and Play #4 and West Loop #5. The city charges residents less than non-residents, and a refundable deposit applies on top of the rental.
At Ralph V. Chisholm Park, the larger pavilions A, C and D hold up to 60 people. Pavilion B holds up to 200 and requires a Special Event Permit, which must be applied for at least 60 days in advance.
One thing the city does not publish is whether inflatables are permitted at its pavilions. We checked the covered pavilion pages, the rentals and facilities pages and the special events packet, and found no rule either way. Before you plan a park setup, call St. Cloud Parks and Recreation on 407-957-7392 and get a direct answer. This matters because the neighbouring City of Kissimmee does publish a rule, and it prohibits bounce houses and inflatables in all of its parks and pavilions, so you cannot assume the two cities take the same position.
None of this applies to a party at your own home. Osceola County's special event permit rules explicitly exempt private residences, and a backyard setup in St. Cloud needs no reservation and no permit.
St. Cloud Bounce House Rental Questions
How far ahead should I book? For a Saturday in spring or early summer, as early as you can. Weekdays are usually available with less notice.
What do you need from me before delivery? The address, the hours you want the unit available, the setup surface, and the width of the narrowest gate on the route into the yard. That last one decides which units will physically fit.
Do I need power? Yes. A blower runs continuously the whole time the unit is inflated, so we need a working outlet within reach. Tell us the distance if the setup point is far from the house.
What about wet slides? A wet setup needs a standard outdoor spigot within reach. If that is not practical we can supply the same slide dry instead.
Do you clean the units? Yes, units are cleaned and inspected between bookings.
What happens if the weather turns? Contact us as early as you can on the day. Inflatables are not safe in high wind or lightning, and we will talk through the options with you rather than push ahead.
We schedule St. Cloud deliveries alongside our Narcoossee and Harmony runs, so if you are flexible on timing we can usually find a slot.
