Why Four Corners rules depend on your address
Four Corners is the only community in Florida located in four counties. It straddles Lake, Polk, Osceola and Orange. Two houses a few minutes apart can fall under entirely different park systems, which is why generic advice about permits is unreliable here.
Orange County side: water slides are not allowed in any county park, and dry inflatables such as moonwalks need written permission plus insurance naming the county as an additional insured, arranged at least 15 days ahead.
Osceola County side: county parks require insurance and an advance pavilion reservation, with pavilion rates set by size and resident status. Osceola’s separate countywide special event permit exempts private residences.
Polk County side: Polk County does not publish its inflatable policy online. Call Polk County Parks and Recreation on 863-534-4340 before planning a park setup.
Lake County side: confirm directly with Lake County Parks before booking a park event.
None of this applies to a private yard. If your party is at home, or at a vacation rental where the property manager has approved it, the county line makes no practical difference to us or to you.
